Vestibular/Balance Therapy

Symptoms such as dizziness, vertigo, nausea and imbalance might indicate a vestibular disorder. Vestibular disorders can be caused by viral or bacterial infections, atmospheric pressure changes or head traumas, and they limit many aspects of life. Thankfully, Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT) can help.

At Cooperative Performance & Rehabilitation, our expert physical therapists take a one-on-one approach to help patients control vertigo and imbalance with customized treatment plan in our purpose-built vestibular lab. Our approach also involves educating patients about their condition and how to self-manage it.

Concussion

Concussion, also known as Mild Traumatic Brain Injury or mTBI, are usually caused by a bump, blow or jolt to the head.  However, you do not have to hit your head to sustain a concussion.  Even the rapid change in the heads momentum such as with whiplash injuries in motor vehicle accidents may be enough to cause the brain to bounce around or twist in the skull also resulting in concussion.

Our clinic is proud to be apart of the concussion management team in Eugene that is partnered with many other med
ical specialists in the community to best help our patients with mild traumatic brain injury. To learn more, please see our page on concussion rehabilitation
